Hi everybody! Welcome back to my blog. I've now completed Literacy week 9 term 2. We've had to write about a closing statement, and what is a simple, compound and a complex is. At the bottom of the slide, we had to write about a description of what goes on at lunchtime at Ahipara school. We've also had to write about paragraphs and this is what I wrote so far!

Word problems

For online school work we had to do some word problems for maths and here is what I've done.

Narrative writting

At home, we have been doing some online school. We had to complete some slides and create our own narratives.

Treaty of waitangi

In-room 3 we have been working on our Treaty of Waitangi slide, its token me about a few weeks to completely finish, but here is my Treaty of Waitangi slide.

Rocky shore project

In class, we have been doing a project about the rocky shore. We have been working on it for 4 weeks.

Summer learning journey

If I could only bring 10 foods to eat and to last for three weeks is...

1. Water - Because I need to stay hydrated.

2. Crackers - The reason why I selected crackers was that it can last for 2 months.

3. Beans - The reason why I picked beans was that it can last for about 1-2 years, and that can help me survive for 3 weeks.

4. Rice - Because I could probably just eat it raw and I think that it lasts for 3 weeks.

5. M&M - Because I don't think I can survive for 3 weeks from not eating candy!!!

6. Bread - Bread can last for a few weeks.

8. Dried corn - Last for a few years.

9. Dehydrated carrots - Last for a few years.

10. Rolled oats - Last for a few years.

Cybersmart Values

In-room 3 we had to make a google drawing slide about Cybersmart and you had to pick one topic for it and as you can see I picked Respect. Like so we had to create a google drawing site and like writing about all the things that were not meant to be on like twitter and stuff because it isn't related to school work, and that's it.

Simple and Compound sentences

So in class Miss Takimoana said that we have to do some writing so we had to complete the story and we had to do a sentence in a group of words that form a complete thought. And that it must have a subject and a verb. And we had to do other things about it. but it was really fun to do and I enjoyed it.
